When the girl sends flowers to the guy?

This happened to me, I received flowers from a girlfriend. I just wanted to know is this something new these days? It kind of made me feel like well like the girl! Wonder what anyone thinks of this one. She said she did it just because she was thinking of me. Romantic or creepy?

Hi kings, well I have heard of this - but only in movies...and then it made me wonder. In one episode of %26#039;FRASIER%26#039; a girl sent flowers to Frasier and he began thinking that she was acting like the male in the relationship, and he was right - she was!





In real life I have never known a girl who has sent flowers to a guy.





I guess there is nothing wrong with it, but personally, I dont like it. And if I was a guy I would feel very embarrassed and awkward if it happened to me.





I am sure that you wont be boasting about this to your friends, so I think you feel embarrassed by it.





So, ssshhhhhhhhhhhh...dont tell your friends over a pint tonight!!

Reply:The gesture is romantic, but it is not traditional. I know how happy I feel when I receive flowers, so I sent my husband flowers once while we were dating. It was his b-day, I went to the florist and told them that I didn%26#039;t want girly- like roses ( pink, red) since this was for a guy. They tried to butch it up as much as they could... there was this autumn-y colored rose, like a burnt orange. It was unique and not real feminine. They used all greenery in the fill, no baby%26#039;s breath or anything frilly. Sent it to my husband%26#039;s office. I know he appreciated the gesture, but I didn%26#039;t get the feeling he liked receiving flowers as much as I do. He even said, %26quot; I%26#039;ve never had anyone send me flowers before %26quot;. That was almost 7 years ago or so. I%26#039;ve never had the desire to send him flowers since. I was not offended by what sounded like a luke warm response to the gesture. There are so many ways to express affection, so I%26#039;ll just be the one in this relationship who receives the flowers.

Reply:I think the girl had sweet intentions. She probably just thought that she likes receiving flowers so maybe a guy would too. It was a little naive on her part but at least the thought was there! You shouldn%26#039;t let this be the decider of how you feel about her.
