Should i send flowers/rose to a girl prior to the first date?

I%26#039;ve met a girl recently (only the once on a night out) and we have been communicating really well via text %26amp; msn etc... Were going out soon for a drink and i%26#039;m picking her up in the evening and were going for a few drinks in a nice bar. I was thinking about sending her some flowers/rose at her work on the day of the date! With a little note inside saying something like %26quot;looking forward to seeing you tonight%26quot; I thought this would be a little different from giving them to her on the night, but worried it might be a bit to much! She works in a big office with lots of colleagues and friends, just thought it would be really flattering! Your comments please!

Should i send flowers/rose to a girl prior to the first date?
good lord boy don%26#039;t worry so much! she is going to love this!....i would not send roses tho...something a little less %26quot;i love you%26quot;....maybe carnations??? I hope yall have a great time...good luck!
Reply:Since the relationship is new, I think flowers on the day might be a bit too much too fast. However, I do think that if the date is successful, you could send flowers the day after. Remember not too put all of your eggs in one basket just yet... its all about the chase.
Reply:Give it to her when you see her.. or plan to have them sent to her on your date.. like when you go to dinner.. Even pick some while walking in the park (my husband will pick them on his way home sometimes.. its nicer than buying them, he put thought into it). Anything to show how you feel during the date is nice.. Seeing as it sucks to have to wait until the end to know how each other feels.
Reply:i think you should go for it, of course she%26#039;ll love them, more men should be thinking along your lines. good for you man. best of luck!
Reply:Do it after the first date and when you%26#039;re both comfortable with each others.
Reply:no!
Reply:wait til after a few dates
Reply:Definitely no
Reply:That%26#039;s a bit much, unless you%26#039;re she really likes you a lot.
Reply:No, After the date if it went well would be ok, but nothing too OTT.
Reply:Think it best not to, could frighten her off. If the date goes well and she agrees to meet you again perhaps you could get her flowers next day but don%26#039;t go OTT with them. Also I would send or get them taken to her house because you don%26#039;t know exactly what she wants her workmates to know. If the relationship develops and you know more about her and realise she indeed would be flattered receiving flowers at the office then certainly fine.
Reply:Bad idea - you haven%26#039;t even been on the date yet!
Reply:it%26#039;s a bit much I think, especially for a first date - but if the date goes well why not send her some the next day and let her know what a great time you had and maybe you could do it again sometime?
Reply:Don%26#039;t do it.....it%26#039;s one of those things that is sweet and you are probably a really nice guy but being that obviously eager is a turn-off. Don%26#039;t go overboard on the date and declare undying love or anything....guys who don%26#039;t commit are just as frustrating as the ones who are ready to move in after the first date. If the date goes well (be aware of her body language and signals) sending flowers AFTER would be quite lovely.
Reply:personally i would find that creepy your heart is in the right place but after one encounter and talkin via text it would push me away cuz it would freak me out. you%26#039;re doing too much too fast slow down if the date goes well then you will have many other opportunitest to do that for her! hope that helps peace
Reply:NO! NO! NO! She will think you%26#039;re a bloody stalker!
Reply:I think most girls would find this a little creepy
Reply:Definitely too soon! Most girls would get creeped out by that, it%26#039;s just too eager and for some reason seems %26quot;stalker-esque%26quot; for lack of a better word.
